Coyote welcomes wave of new clients as investors go digital

Since the start of the year, the commercial real estate acquisition and asset management platform, has secured Avignon, Oxenwood, Cordatus, Dunmoore, Global Gate Capital and Caisson Real Estate.

Additionally, following engagement with its users, Coyote has launched new tools on the platform, including an enhanced portfolio analysis function that enables users to filter their assets by tenant, at unit-level.

Coyote is a unique cloud-based platform developed and used by M7 Real Estate and its clients over eight years, before being launched commercially to the market in September 2017. The business is continuing to expand its team to meet growing demand, recruiting three full-time members of staff in the past month. The London-headquartered firm now employs 40 people.

Oli Farago, co-founder, CEO and chief technology officer at Coyote, said: “Even before the Covid-19 outbreak, we were starting to see a real shift in the demands from the investor and fund management community on the speed, frequency, consistency and efficiency of how they manage and interpret their data. The current climate of transformative change and uncertainty, coupled with the inevitable move towards mobile and remote working, is amplifying and accelerating this demand.

“Coyote provides time-saving solutions for acquisition and asset management teams, helping them work smarter, and their data work harder. Cloud-based technology like ours has been helping commercial real estate businesses to work more efficiently by providing clients with remote and mobile access to business-critical data, long before Covid-19, but the challenges facing the industry certainly accentuates the role that technology plays in real estate. Not only that, but our agile setup and approach to working means we have been able to develop and enhance the platform, quickly adding new functions that are more crucial than ever to our clients.”

The business now boasts more than 40 clients and is embarking on an international expansion strategy which is underway in Europe, primarily in Germany, while earlier this year a new office was opened in New York to anchor the move into the US.

Coyote has strategic partnerships with complementary platforms such as Infabode, WiredScore and Nimbus Maps, while integrating leading property management systems such as Yardi, MRI and Tramps.
